New constable recruitment has started in Bangladesh Police Force. Bangladesh Police has published a massive recruitment circular for the recruitment of new 5,500 Constable vacancies. Out of 5,500 posts of Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC), 4675 men and 825 women will be recruited. Interested candidates can apply online from 02 December 2022. The recruitment exam will start on different dates in each district, the below table gives the district-wise exam schedule.

Application Start Time: 02 December 2022 from 10:00 AM onwards.
Last date of application: 28th December 2022 till 11:59 PM.
Recruitment to the post of Police Constable
Educational Qualification: SSC or equivalent pass candidates can apply. Candidates should have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in both exams.
Age: The candidate's age to apply should be between 18 to 20 years as on 28 December 2022. Only single men and women can apply.
Physical Qualification: For male candidates height should be 5 feet 6 inches and chest size should be 31 inches normal and 33 inches inflated. However, for male candidates in tribal and freedom fighters quota, height should be 5 feet 4 inches and chest size should be 30 inches in normal condition and 31 inches in the inflated condition. Height should be 5 feet 4 inches for female candidates, but 5 feet 2 inches for female candidates in tribal and freedom fighter quota. Candidates' weight will be determined according to height and age.
Salary and Allowances: Clothing, food, and medical facilities will be provided during the six months of training. Besides, a training allowance will be given every month during the training period. After the training, the salary of the recruits will be Tk 9000-21800 according to the 17th grade of the 2015 pay scale.
Physical measurements and physical examination will be conducted at the Police Lines Maidan of the candidate's district. Must appear on the scheduled date with the required documents. Job candidates should keep the permission letter from the authorities. Physical measurement tests will check whether age, height, chest width, and weight are correct or not. Then take part in running, jumping, rope climbing, push-ups, and dragging.
On passing the examination, the Superintendent of Police of the district will issue the admit card for the subsequent examination. At the same time, he will decide on the center of the written examination and inform the candidates. Admit cards should be brought during a written, psychological and oral test.
After passing the physical exam, you will have to sit for the written exam on the specified day. Written test of 45 marks in Bengali, English, General Mathematics, and General Science.
Candidates who qualify for the written test will be called for a psychological and oral examinations on scheduled dates. It will have 15 marks. In addition to personal introductory questions, various questions are asked in this exam to judge the candidate's mental skills, and values.
