What are the QS World University Rankings?

The QS World University Rankings are produced annually by higher education data and analytics company Quacquarelli Symonds. Meanwhile, both McGill University and the University of Alberta are back in 9th and 10th place, up a place from 2017. Conclusion

The Canadian education system has made great strides to improve its ability to educate students at the highest level. The gap between the richest and poorest students is considerably narrower than it was at its zenith in 2000. The government is certainly paying attention, as it did recently with the announcement of the introduction of free postsecondary education. This quality of education may not be enough to win the hearts and minds of the world’s elite. But it’s a significant improvement from just a few years ago and one that makes Canada an excellent choice for a student looking to study abroad. (By Kyle Ash, CanadaSpend.
